Laura Hodges, PT, OCS

Lauren Hodges, PT, OSC

Laura Hodges is a 1979 graduate of Florida International University in Miami, Florida. Laura gained her early years of experience in a large orthopedic-based private practice where she expanded her skills in manual therapy.

Laura opened her private practice in 1986 in Melrose, Florida and expanded clinics into Starke in 1988 and Keystone Heights in 1992. Laura specializes in orthopedics and manual therapy and has additional training in temporomandibular disorders and vestibular rehabilitation. She is certified by the American Board of Physical Therapists - Orthopedic Section.

Lauren Hughes, DPT

Lauren Hughes, DPT

Lauren Hughes is a 2013 graduate of the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences where she earned her doctorate of physical therapy degree. She also received a bachelor of science degree in exercise science from the University of North Florida in 2010. Her clinical background includes acute care, skilled nursing, and general orthopedics. Lauren is a lifetime resident of Starke and graduated from Bradford High School in 2006.

Carol Rich, PTA

Carol Rich, PTA

Carol Rich is a 1995 graduate of Lake City Community College and began her career as a physical therapist assistant at Lake Area Physical Therapy, where she has worked since 1996. Carol has developed clinical excellence in outpatient orthopedics and manual therapy.

Carol also holds a bachelor's degree in education from the University of Central Florida. She is an active clinical instructor for students pursuing a physical therapist assistant degree.

Ricky Buchholz, PTA

Ricky Buchholz, PTA

Ricky is a 1996 graduate from Lake City Community College in which he received the most outstanding student award. He has practiced in the acute care (NFRMC & Shands) setting for 10 years and became one of the wound care specialists and was on the disaster relief team. Ricky also has worked in a Skilled Nursing Facility as needed by various facilities. His main focus has been the outpatient clinic throughout his PTA career as he has been an employee for Lake Area Physical Therapy & Aquatics for over a decade.

Brittany McCall, PTA

Brittany McCall, PTA

Brittany is a 2010 graduate from Florida State College at Jacksonville and a Keystone Heights native. Her interest in physical therapy began in 2008 with her employment as a PT technician with Lake Area Physical Therapy & Aquatics. She then pursued her PTA degree to eventually return as a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant. Brittany's background in physical therapy ranges from general orthopedics, neurology, skilled nursing/assisted living and home health care.

Heidi Bintzler, PTA

Heidi Bintzler, PTA Heidi is a 2013 graduate of Keiser University in Jacksonville Fl. She began her interest in PT in 2000 when she began working at Lake area Physical Therapy and Aquatics as a technician. She has experience in skilled nursing and general ortho. She has lived in Clay county most of her life and graduated from Middleburg High. She currently lives in Keystone Heights with her husband and two children.

Nicole Wagner, OTR

Nicole Wagner
A 1998 honors graduate of the University of Florida, Nicole has been a contracted Occupational Therapist for Lake Area Physical Therapy and Aquatics since 1999. Previous education in Rehabilitation Counseling @ UF. She has over 15 years of clinical experience with special interest in neurological rehabilitation and hands. Nicole has experience in acute care, inpatient psychiatric, skilled nursing and home care. Future professional goals include attaining a Certified Hand Therapist specialty as well as becoming a Licensed Massage Therapist. Nicole is a native of Keystone Heights, Florida and a single mom who enjoys performing music, dancing, gardening and travel.

Angie Stanley, PT

Angy Stanley, LMT, MPT

Angy is a 1997 graduate of De Moines University with a Masters Degree of Science in Physical Therapy.  She also has a license in Massage Therapy that she earned at The Humanities Center in St. Petersburg, Fl.  Angy has be a Physical Therapist and Clinical Director for Lake Area Physical Therapy and Aquatics since July 2000.  She is a resident of Melrose and enjoys spending time with her family.

Elizabeth Lane, DPT

Liz is a 2016 Doctorate of Physical Therapy graduate of Arcadia University in Philadelphia. She is residency trained in orthopedics and holds a specialty certification in orthopedics, as well as nutrition. She contributes to current published research in the areas of achilles tendinopathy and shoulder instability. She works part time as a lab instructor for Arcadia University and actively participates as a clinical instructor for DPT candidates.
