OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY

Our licensed Occupational Therapist is available by consultation to provide evaluation and treat patients in any of our four locations. Occupational therapy services may be in conjunction with their physical and/or speech therapies to provide the most comprehensive rehabilitation plan for the specific needs of each patient. Occupational therapy is prescribed by a physician for individuals who, due to age, illness, injury, disease or disability, experience a loss of function in activities of daily living, vocational pursuits or leisure activities. Our Occupational Therapists will design an individual treatment plan which may include functional tasks, therapeutic exercise, manual treatments, compensatory methods, adaptive equipment and environmental modifications to maximize independence.
